The Early Years

Children start in Early Years in our Foundation Stage Class when they are 3+.

Children who are 4+ join our Reception Class.

Learning in the Early Years at AIS is play-based and child-centred.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage program which is part of the English National Curriculum.

The Primary Years

The Primary Years at AIS cover six years of a student’s journey with us. Beginning in Year 1 (age 5+), children build on the strong foundations established in the Early Years, further developing their reading, writing, and mathematical skills through the English National Curriculum.

The Middle Years

The Middle Years at AIS cover three important years of a student’s learning journey — Years 7, 8, and 9.

During this stage, students follow the English National Curriculum, which provides clear progression and prepares them for the academic rigor of IGCSE study.

The Higher Years

Students in the Higher Years study for a range of Cambridge International Qualifications.

In Years 10 and 11 they study up to 8 IGCSE subjects.   In Years 12 and 13 they study up to 3 A-Level subjects.

These qualifications enable them to apply and gain access to universities across the world in their chosen subject.
