So far in term 3, the Rabbit and Lion classes have explored a variety of movements in the Gymnastics Unit. Students demonstrated balances by stretching their bodies, staying in position and holding still. Building on this, student worked up to practicing a variety of rolls and jumps, demonstrating how to safely tuck their bodies to stay in position and, when jumping, to land safely on bent knees. The Lion class even progressed to jumping from an apparatus!
Finally, this week students put all their moves together to plan and perform a sequence.
