Learning in Action This Week

In the Snails class with Ms. Bruna, the children made the most of a sunny afternoon by heading outside for a simple science experiment. Using magnifying glasses, they carefully tried warming up leaves and watched closely to see what would happen. There was lots of excitement as they waited and plenty of proud smiles when they saw the results. A great mix of curiosity and and hands-on learning in the sun!

In Language Arts this week, the Wolves class wrapped up their unit on The Tempest. Students showed some really thoughtful text analysis as they explored characters, themes, and key moments from the play. There were some creative interpretations, and Ms. Lorna is of course excited to read how they’ve brought Shakespeare’s world to life in their own way!

Over the past few weeks, the Phoenix class has been balancing music theory work with rehearsals for two pieces they’re preparing for Thursday Tunes. They’ve done a great job switching between written tasks and practical playing time. One of the newer pieces might sound simple on its own, but playing it together has been a real team challenge. It’s pushed students to listen closely, keep steady timing, and stay in sync with one another. Thank you Ms. EunByeol!
