SKAIS Volleyball: Big Energy, Big Moments

It was a fantastic week for AIS sport as our teams headed off for the SKAIS volleyball fixtures. The girls travelled to Busan with Mr Raphael and rose brilliantly to the challenge. 

Competing at a high level and gaining exposure to high school sport, they showed real determination and teamwork throughout the day. We’re proud to share that they qualified for the top league, the Varsity Division, and scored some excellent points along the way. Thia, Abha, and Eliana represented the school with confidence and resilience.

Meanwhile, Mr Val accompanied the boys to Daegu, where Max, Christian, Leandro, Ben, and Aadhav put in an outstanding performance. We have never seen our boys play volleyball so well. It was a tough competition, but they stepped up impressively.

The highlight of the day was an epic second set against tournament winners DIS. The atmosphere was electric, and it was our strongest moment of the event. A huge thank you to our teachers for the early start and late return, and to our pupils for their effort, spirit, and sportsmanship.
