In Year 6 last week, students got a small taste of what computing will look like next year. They wrote their very first programs in Python and had fun figuring out how to fix small syntax mistakes, especially in the print commands. A few even pushed themselves further by experimenting with variables and changing parts of their code to see what would happen. It was a fantastic week for AIS sport as our teams headed off for the SKAIS volleyball fixtures. The girls travelled to Busan with Mr Raphael and rose brilliantly to the challenge. Competing at a high level and gaining exposure to high school sport, they showed real determination and teamwork throughout the day. Our Tuesday Tunes session this week was made extra special with a delightful mini piano concert performed by two talented students; Luca and Darsh. The boys shared a selection of beautiful piano pieces, filling the school with gentle melodies and confident performances. Our ski trip to Muju this week was a real highlight and a huge success. The pupils had a fantastic time on the slopes, with lots of confident skiing and even a few brave boys and girls giving snowboarding a go for the first time. It was great to see how much they’ve grown since last year.
